This headset is a wired gaming headset from the long-established audio equipment manufacturer "audio-technica". While it has ample large ear pads, it has been thoroughly lightened. The headband is a steel plate with several notches and even the audio cable is exposed. The pressure from the ear pads is very low, offering a very comfortable fit, and thanks to the lightweight headband, the headphones don't shift even if you shake your head a little. The part of the ear pads that touches the skin is made of breathable fabric, contributing to its comfort.
Tips for attaching the cover:
1. Insert the rubber band of the cover into the gap
It is recommended to insert the part of the cover's rubber band between the ear pad and the housing. (※ Please refer to the photo above)
There is a seam at one place on the rubber band of the cover, making that part slightly thicker and harder to insert. So, after inserting the other parts, press the seamed part in last. If you feel uncomfortable due to the tension of the cover when attached this way, try securing the rubber band on the side of the ear pad.
2. Orient the cover vertically
This cover stretches differently vertically and horizontally, with the vertical direction stretching better. As this headset has vertically long ear pads, aligning the cover vertically (in the direction that stretches better) when attaching will provide a better fit.
To attach the cover vertically, make sure the seam of the cover's rubber band comes to the top (or bottom) of the cup. This way, you can orient the cover vertically.
3. Stretch before wearing
After attaching the cover, press the fabric of the cover into the inside of the ear pad before wearing the headset. This weakens the tension of the cover, providing a better fit. If you feel pressure on your ears when using the cover, give it a try.
