This headphone is the MDR-DS1000 from SONY's surround system. The system comprises a wired headphone and a stationary surround processor, featuring both optical digital and analog audio inputs, allowing you to connect the processor to devices with optical digital output, such as TVs and Blu-ray players, and enjoy virtual surround sound. The headphone itself is extremely lightweight, and with its headband designed to avoid the crown of the head, there's no pressure on the crown, making it comfortable for long-term listening with the ear pads also exerting minimal pressure. The processor is equipped with two types of effects, "CINEMA" and "MUSIC", with "CINEMA" mode offering powerful and expansive sound, and "MUSIC" mode making the resonance of the instruments clear and pleasant. In the present day, where most stationary surround processor-included headphones are wireless, this wired headphone is a rare and valuable item.

Points to note when fitting the cover:

1. Insert the rubber band of the cover into the gap
It is recommended to insert the part of the cover's rubber band into the groove between the ear pad and the housing. (※ Please refer to the picture above)
At that time, there is a seam at one place on the cover's rubber band, which is thicker and harder to insert, so after inserting the other parts, finally press the seam part in as the key point.

2. Stretch before fitting
Before putting on the headphones after attaching the cover, pressing the cover into the ear pad and stretching the fabric by hand reduces the tension of the cover and improves the fit. If you feel pressure on your ear when using the cover, please try this method.
