This model is the fourth generation of the highly popular 1000X series as a wireless noise-canceling headphone. The overall design follows the common design of the 1000X series, similar to its predecessor, the 1000XM3. However, its already acclaimed noise-canceling performance has been further enhanced, and functionally, features like multi-point connections have improved its usability. As an active noise-canceling headphone, it always represents the pinnacle of its time, and calling it one of the milestones would not be an exaggeration.
Points to consider when attaching the cover:
1. Don't cover too deeply
If covered too deeply, the tension of the cover increases, making it difficult to fit the ears into the ear cups and causing a feeling of pressure on the ears when worn. It's recommended to adjust the left ear cup so that the cover doesn't cover the button, and the right ear cup should be covered to about the same depth as the left (refer to the above picture).
2. Orient the cover vertically
This cover has different stretch ratios vertically and horizontally, with the vertical direction having better stretchability. Since this headphone has vertically long ear pads, aligning the cover vertically (the direction it stretches well) improves the fit. When attaching the cover vertically, ensure that the seam of the rubber band on the cover aligns with the top (or bottom) of the ear cup. Doing so will allow you to position the cover vertically.
One point to note is that when the cover is attached to this headphone, the sensor that detects the headphone's detachment may not function correctly, and the music may not automatically stop even when the headphones are removed. Please be aware of this when considering purchasing the cover.
